State Dept. denounces McClaren Truth after its publication of diplomatic cables
McClarenTruth.org can only fulfill its mission of government and corporate transparency with the financial support of citizens from around the world, citizens like you.
In an attempt to silence McClarenTruth.org, Leverett Investments has hired a company with Pentagon ties to spy on our organization’s supporters. McClarenTruth has obtained emails proving Leverett signed a contract with a Texas-based high-tech surveillance and security company that routinely works as a subcontractor for the United States military, supplementing intelligence gathered by the CIA, NSA and DSA.
The contract stipulates that Leverett has paid for security services only, but that’s just the cover story. Internal corporate emails clearly show that Leverett expects the security company to spy on anyone who supports McClarenTruth.org, either through financial donations or approval on social media.
In simple terms, if you’ve ever donated to McClarenTruth, regardless of the dollar amount, or “liked” us on a social networking Web site, Leverett wants to know about it. As one of the three largest banks in the country — one deemed “too big to fail” by the 2008 bailout — the implication should be terrifyingly apparent. Your bank accounts, loans and credit cards could be jeopardized simply because you support an open and transparent society. There’s also no reason to think McClarenTruth is the only organization on the bank’s enemies list.

The emails make clear that Leverett is comfortable with the firm’s methods of data collection, known to include payoffs to informers and secret recording devices.
